Daka hit by hacker attack – updated 11th April

Update 11th April
Today the possibility to request a new code for PIGUP&KO has become available again. Therefore, it should now be possible for everyone using PIGUP&KO to get started using the app as normal.

Update 8th April
SMS and email notification are running again with confirmation of registrations.

Update 7th April
There are still challenges with not receiving confirmations of registrations as SMS, but you can now see the information in the app as normal. As far as we can see, no registrations are lost, so even if you don’t receive a confirmation about pickup time or similar, we have received the registration.

If you log out of the app
We know that some customers find that if they get logged out of the app, they can’t log back in. At the same time, it is not possible to be allowed to change the password, as the message you should receive from the app on this does not work. Therefore, we encourage you to use the keypad phone 7022 5544 instead if you have been logged out. Here you need to log in with your phone number and CHR number.

You can also use the customer login

Delayed billing
As a further consequence of the hacker attack, we are unable to issue the usual monthly invoice. We hope to be able to issue your invoice within the next 14 days.

Update 6th April
Once you have made a registration, you can now see in the app when you have been picked up. The ongoing information until pickup is still not working.

Update 5 thApril

PIGUP&KO, Customer login and Touch self phone are working again
We have received many registrations over the weekend through both the PIGUP&KO app and Customer Login. The system has been a bit unstable and slow, but as far as we can see all registrations have entered our system. Our trucks have been collecting all weekend, so if you still have animals lying around that haven’t been picked up, feel free to sign them up again, just in case.

We have found that you are not receiving text message confirmation, nor can you see confirmation of registrations in the app. This also means that you will not receive a confirmation when we have picked up.

We are working to resolve this.

The touch-tone phone is working again
It is now also possible to use the touch-tone phone on 7022 5544. So all our usual registration channels are available again.
Here you need to enter your phone number and the relevant CHR number.

Update 1st April

You can now register through Customer Login and the PIGUP&KO app
We are still facing challenges with our systems, but today we managed to get the customer login and the PIGUP&KO app up and running again, therefore we have closed the temporary sign-up form.

Your username is: login number (phone number)
Your password is: debtor number

The automatic sign-up system via keypad phone, is still NOT available and you can NOT sign up by calling customer service.

If you still have animals, they must be re-registered
We have picked up a large number of your registrations via the temporary registration form, but we would like you to check if you still have unclaimed animals. If you do, you must re-register them, even if you have already entered them in the temporary registration form. This will allow us to avoid some of the manual work we’ve been doing the last few days and allow everything to be collected more efficiently.

A big task ahead
There are still a lot of registrations waiting to be picked up, so we are collecting as much as possible over the weekend, but there could still be irregularities.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and hope to return to a more normal collection pattern soon, and thank you for your patience during the hacker attack.
