Daka SecAnim will exhibit at NutriFair on 17 and 18 May 2022. And this year we are extra excited! Not just because it’s been a long time since last time, but because it’s a great opportunity for you to ask questions and get an in-depth look at our new educational material for Danish farmers and their employees.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

Our training material on good handling of dead animals is aimed at farmers and managers for use with employees. The material can be used to advise staff on the best way to deal with fallen stock.<\/p>\n

At this year’s NutriFair we will be running short sessions to help farm managers make use of the training material. Visitors will be able to join 20-minute sessions where Daka staff will advise on when and how individual managers can use the training material on farm – for example as part of team meetings or lunchtime sessions.<\/p>\n

The training material is a tool to ensure a more consistent approach to handling fallen stock between farm staff. It is an effort that benefits the farm immediately, but in the long term it helps to improve the farm’s image, increase the level of recycling and contribute to veterinary safety across farms.<\/p>\n

The educational material consists of: background material for the farm manager, a slide show to present to staff, a poster to use in the barn or staff room, and a sticker for the carcass bin or pick-up area to help with animal and cloak placement.<\/p>\n
